Brandon Cantu of UB.net Takes Wynn Classic Poker Tournament

Team UB.net pro takes down another land-based tournament in Las Vegas

Miami, FL (PRWeb) March 18, 2010 – If Brandon Cantu’s impressive performance this week at a land-based poker tournament in Las Vegas is any indication, the Team UB.net poker pro needs to make room on his arm for a third World Series of Poker bracelet. Cantu finished first in Event #17 of the 2010 Wynn Classic, a No Limit Hold’em Championship tournament and the final event of the poker tournament series that began on March 24th at the Wynn Las Vegas.

Cantu left the tournament with $363,844 after outlasting a field of 262 players. The total prize pool of the $5,000+160 buy-in poker tournament was $1,173,700.

This is Brandon Cantu’s second major land-based win in less than a year. At last year’s WSOP, the Team UB.net pro conquered Event #48, a $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha 8 or Better event, besting a field of 762 players to win $228,867. At the WSOP, Cantu has amassed ten top 10 finishes, made four final tables, and won two bracelets.

So far, Brandon Cantu has won more than $3.6 million in online poker and land-based tournaments. Online poker players can learn about the success stories of all Team UB.net pros by reading their bios at UB.net.
