Phil Hellmuth Biography
Phil Hellmuth is a man of many records.
It all began in 1989 when, at just 24-years-old, he won his first World Series of Poker bracelet, an achievement nothing short of legendary. At the time, Hellmuth was the youngest player to ever win a bracelet and up until a few years ago he held onto that record tightly.
One record that hasn't been broken, however, is his WSOP bracelet count. Hellmuth's wrists are lined with 11 of them and he stands alone as the only player to have won that many.
Hellmuth also holds the records for most WSOP cashes at 75 and most final tables at 41, heading into 2010.
And based on his grand poker tournament entrances alone, Hellmuth also likely holds the record for most talked about pro, although we can't really quantify that. Just take our word for it.
In 2007, Phil Hellmuth's position in poker history was cemented as truly legendary when he was inducted into the prestigious Poker Hall of Fame.
